Interlocking is a great alternative for loc maintenance when you have an active lifestyle and need to prolong your time in between visits. This technique provides a clean and sleek look for smaller locs and is more visible in larger locs. To achieve this technique the end of the loc is inserted through the root of

Sisterlock Consultation

For the Sisterlock™️Consultation you will need an hour of time set aside as well as your natural hair out (shampooed, blow dried and product free). The consultation includes a discussion of your hair history, scalp and hair assessment, an installation of 9 “tester” locs and then the time to ask and all questions that you nay have.

Post consultation, you hair has to be shampooed at least once at home to test the integrity of the tester locks installed.

After two weeks, you return for a few minutes for us to discuss the status of those locks, which rotations would work best and then booking your install dates.

Her Masterpieces Beauty was founded by Shanice Bullock McKinney. Shanice has done hair since she was a young girl watching her grandfather do hair in the salon. She grew up doing her hair alongside her friends hair. In 2018 Shanice officially obtained her NC Cosmetologist License and has been working consistently since. Although fully licensed and offering a full service menu , her specialty is natural hair and locs (traditional, micro and Sisterlocks). With well over 100+ clients from 4 to 60+ years old, Shanice prides in making everyone feel the beauty in their God given masterpiece.

I’m big on maximizing my time, came in Shanice did a consultation and pep talk 😂 (new to the loc family)my hair was washed, treated and conditioned, retwisted and styled.
